About Me

“I am a values‑driven leader shaped by three decades across essential services, community housing, and intergenerational infrastructure in New Zealand and the Pacific. My governance approach comes from my Indo‑Fijian upbringing, where dignity, collective responsibility and caring for people and place were simply part of life. Across my career, I have led organisations that carry long‑term obligations to communities, from social housing and essential services to regulated utilities and Pacific operations. I’ve held full legal and fiduciary responsibility as a Director and Shareholder, governed complex portfolios, and worked closely with iwi, councils, regulators and community groups to deliver outcomes that endure. Today I serve as a Director of ECPAT Child Alert NZ and sit on the Risk & Audit Sub‑Committee, strengthening governance systems, ethical practice and organisational performance. My executive background includes P&L leadership up to $285M, capital programmes over $100M, procurement portfolios of $300M, and stewardship of essential services across NZ, Australia and the Pacific. What anchors me is people. I believe governance is ultimately about protecting what matters — communities, culture, assets, and the futures they enable. I bring steadiness, commercial depth, cultural humility and a genuine commitment to equity and long‑term wellbeing.”
