About Me
“Kia ora, I have over 15 years governance experience and have a particular focus in the areas of property development, property investment, sustainability and stakeholder management. These roles have all focused on development of long term sustainable returns. I currently sit on the Alandale Retirement Village Board as well as being the chair of the property committee. The board consists of both resident and independent Trustees. Previous roles have included serving over 5 years with the NZ Green Building Council representing the property investment sector and also a community arts organization Lake House Arts based in Takapuna, Auckland which included being a member of the Finance Audit and Risk committee as well as deputy chair. My first governance role was as an executive director for Smales Farm, a family owned business with substantial real estate investment and development interests. My executive career has been exclusively in the field of property development, investment, sales and leasing. In my current role at Tamaki Regeneration, owned 59% by Government and 41% by Auckland Council, as General Manager Development and Commercial I am responsible for $870 million development pipeline and over $400 million of infrastructure. In my executive career I have had exposure to a number of sectors including, aviation, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, hotels, medical and residential. In these various roles I have been responsible for managing and creating value through prudent investment and development where I have demonstrated consistent sustainable growth. I enjoy my governance roles and I am looking for new opportunities where I can add value. ”
