About Me
“I am a legally trained executive and governance professional with more than 20 years’ experience across transport, energy, insurance and automotive policy. I am currently Chief Executive of the Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association (VIA), where I lead strategic advocacy, regulatory engagement and stakeholder relationships on complex public policy and industry issues. My background includes senior roles at the Insurance Council of New Zealand, the Motor Trade Association and Gas Industry Company, alongside current governance and advisory involvement with the AA Wellington District Council and Ministry of Transport stakeholder groups. I bring to boards a mix of legal acumen, policy insight, strategic judgement and practical experience navigating regulated environments. I am based in Wellington, married to a successful international trade law barrister, and we have one child. I grew up in Auckland and have lived in Hong Kong, Canada, and across New Zealand.”
