About Me

“During her career, Jane has worked within the construction and consulting sectors for over 30 years and held senior positions delivering projects for clients across a wide range of business sectors. She has operated in the fields of programme, construction, and project management, with international experience gained in Europe (UK & Germany) and across Asia (China & Hong Kong) delivering many large infrastructure projects for aviation, rail, and telecoms clients. Her governance experience now extends across several New Zealand businesses from aviation, telecommunications, contracting, sub contracting and facilities management. Jane currently holds non-executive director positions with Invercargill Airport Limited, A.G. Foley Limited & Delta Utility Services. She is a director of her own consultancy business, Jane George Consulting and has prior board and governance experience with the Switched On Group (as an independent board director) and Enable Services Limited (as an associate director). In previous not for profit roles, she has acted as Project & Special Advisor for the Water for Life Charitable Trust and been a Trustee and Treasurer for the Christchurch Dance Festival Charitable Trust. Jane is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds an MBA from Cranfield University plus a BSc from Aberdeen. She has been a Member of the Institute of Directors (NZ) since 2014 and the RICS since 1990. ”
