About Me
“Organised, strategic and people-centric, I have a foundation of commercial experience in marketing and communications, backed up with governance expertise. From my university job for Red Bull, to my current roles on boards of syndicated horticulture investments, NFP and a private school, I have gained a range of tools and experience. I have strong strategic thinking and have been involved in development of strategic plans for both private and community focused organisations. I am well-travelled, with a broad knowledge of international trends and a global perspective. Aside from governance work, I also do consulting work, which requires I set goals and objectives, then provide a plan, a timeline, assign responsibilities, and work closely with others to implement and succeed. Mostly I find the key is open communication and rigorous planning. In my private and work life I am described as a people person. My profiles (DISC, Gallup etc) I show strong strategic thinking and human based traits, including empathy, Individualization (valuing unique qualities of individuals) positivity, influencing and relationship building. I operate with requirements and needs of stakeholders in mind, and I am dedicated to meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.”
