About Me

“Technology leaders who have built and scaled global platforms bring boards something fundamentally different from those who have only governed them. That arc, from founding software engineer to CTO to non-executive director, is the perspective I bring. At FNZ I helped build the wealthtech platform and custodian organisation now administering north of US$2 trillion in assets globally. As Group CTO I scaled the engineering function to 140 staff across six countries, providing the technical leadership that underpinned FNZ's growth into one of the world's largest wealth administration platforms. As a Non-Executive Director I then spent nearly a decade governing that same business – including six years chairing the Asia Pacific Risk & Compliance Committee, with oversight of technology, cyber and regulatory risk across nine jurisdictions, $240 billion in assets under administration, and regulators including ASIC, APRA, MAS and FMA. Building at that scale is what grounds my boardroom judgement in operational reality. For the past decade I have chaired and served on boards across financial services, health, climate and social impact – governing capital raises, M&A, international expansion and major digital platform transformation programmes. Current roles: Chair of Surely and Eightwire; NED at Cogo, Optimal Workshop and ImpactLab. As AI reshapes how businesses operate and compete, I have invested in staying current – completing the Oxford AI-Driven Business Transformation Executive Programme in March 2026 to sharpen my ability to help boards govern AI strategy, adoption and risk.”
