About Me
“I’m a Non-Executive Director working at the intersection of technology, governance and organisational change. I draw on an extensive background in regulated financial services and fintech to help boards navigate digital transformation and AI adoption without losing sight of governance discipline. I’ve spent my career on both sides of disruption: building the technology that causes it, and later helping boards navigate it. I was a founding member of the team that started FNZ in Wellington, leading the software engineering of the core platform in its startup days, technology that now underpins a global wealthtech and custody platform administering over US$2 trillion in assets. I later chaired FNZ’s Asia Pacific Risk and Compliance Committee for six years, then went on to govern digital transformation, acquisitions, separations and organisational redesign across a wider portfolio of boards. Today I serve on boards across fintech, health data, social impact, energy transition and UX research technology, bringing a systems-engineering mindset to board-level oversight of technology strategy, AI, cyber and complex change. I’m seeking new Non-Executive Director appointments in complex, regulated environments where the stakes and scrutiny are high. I’m especially interested in helping New Zealand organisations scale internationally without losing their Kiwi DNA. Always open to conversations with Chairs, boards and recruiters about new NED opportunities.”
