About Me
“Technology leaders who have built and scaled global platforms bring boards something fundamentally different from those who have only overseen them. That distinction is what I offer. As a founding software engineer at FNZ, and later its Group CTO, I helped build a global wealthtech platform and custodian organisation now administering north of US$2 trillion in assets. That experience of building at scale, navigating complexity and delivering outcomes informs how I contribute in the boardroom: with judgement grounded in operational reality, not just governance theory. Over the past decade I have built executive and governance experience across financial services, health and life sciences, and climate and social impact - guiding businesses through capital raises, M&A, international expansion and major digital transformation programmes. As AI reshapes how businesses operate and compete, I have invested in staying current. I recently completed the Oxford AI-Driven Business Transformation Executive Programme and am a member of AI Forum NZ, equipping me to help boards govern AI strategy and risk with clarity rather than uncertainty. I am currently Chair of Eightwire and a Non-Executive Director of Cogo, Optimal Workshop and ImpactLab. Previous governance roles include nearly a decade as Non-Executive Director at FNZ Asia Pacific, including six years as Chair of the Asia Pacific Risk & Compliance Committee. I hold a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Information Engineering from Massey University and am a member of the NZ Institute of Directors and Tech Women NZ.”
