“An experienced Director with a history in social investment and social responsibility practises, (Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors). Corporate executive with over 15 years’ experience in the international mining sector with a focus on Asia Pacific and Indonesia previously with Newmont Australia. Roles held with Rio Tinto Closure working on re-purposing of closure and legacy sites across Australia, Asia Pacific and NZ and with Oceana Gold as a social performance advisor at their Waihi (NZ) mine for new projects and a previous Social Responsibility global panel member working in the Philippines, NZ and Australia. Previous roles in Local Government, sport, and finance sectors. Exceptional Translational Leadership skills: ability to communicate between multiple agencies and identify areas of common understanding and outcomes for all. Highly experienced in strategic planning, establishing priorities and collaborating with boards and executive management and linking with government, commercial and community agencies. Specific skill and experience in developing Iwi relations and partnering for commercial and Impact Investment opportunities for the betterment of tribal members and outcomes. ”
