About Me
“Currently I am Chairman and CEO of Limelight Group, and Independent Chair at Alexander Corporation. Prior governance roles include Chairman of Dataprint (successfully exited to Freightways Group), and Appliance Shed Ltd (successfully exited to Warehouse Group). I hold or have held executive leadership & governance roles across a wide range of enterprises (in both New Zealand and Australia), including retailing, food service and manufacturing, technology marketing, business process outsourcing, agriculture, tourism and financial services. As the leader of a Financial Services business, I have also developed extensive expertise in complex funding models including securitisation. I have had experience with mergers and acquisitions on both sides of the Tasman. Over the course of my career, I have developed extensive expertise in Leadership and Strategy Development, complex Business and Market Development, Business Turnaround Strategy and Stakeholder Management. As well as being a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, I have until recently sat on the Executive Committee of the Financial Services Federation and give back to my local community through my role as Chairman of the Whitford Community Charitable Trust, and as part of the Breakfast Club Advisory Board. I enjoy working with closely held private and family organisations where I can have a direct and influential relationship with the owners, working alongside them to manage the delicate balance between their needs and that of the ‘business’. ”
