About Me
“With over 30 years of leadership experience, I bring a unique set of skills with proven experience in delivering both operational and corporate outcomes. My leadership foundations were set in the New Zealand Defence Force where I led diverse teams in often challenging environments both here in NZ and overseas. I am an engaging and positive organisational leader, who thrives on building high performing teams, as well as developing individuals within the team. With demonstrated experience in large contract negotiations and international engagements, I believe that connection and strong relationships is the basis to delivering good outcomes. My experiences in the private sector have enhanced my operational leadership by ensuring I remain focused on operational delivery whilst being innovative and cost efficient. I am currently enjoying working in the infrastructure sector with a large capital delivery programme and complex property portfolio to maintain. Enabling the delivery of Justice services to everyone in our communities. I have also recently been privileged to enable police operations through the delivery of corporate functions, improving their operational delivery and the safety of all New Zealanders. The complexity of large budgets, a challenging asset portfolio and multifaceted technology, meant that good corporate governance was essential to be successful.
