“Experienced governance and senior executive leader with more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare, energy, child and family services, public service, and regulatory environments. My commercial background — supported by an MBA and postgraduate study in Organisational Psychology — provides strong capability in risk management, financial oversight, strategic planning, investment logic, and system transformation. My governance lens is deeply grounded in kaupapa Māori values, trauma-informed practice, cultural intelligence, and a commitment to whānau and community wellbeing. I bring the ability to navigate complex issues with clarity, compassion and strategic foresight. I serve in multiple governance roles within Māori and community organisations in Ōtautahi. I offer Boards a balanced combination of commercial insight, public-sector experience, cultural leadership, and system-wide strategic capability. I am committed to advancing intergenerational prosperity, strengthening iwi capability, and ensuring that governance decisions uphold mana, protect taonga, and support thriving, resilient whānau and communities across Waikato-Tainui and beyond.”
