About Me

“I am a values-driven leader with 25 years in financial services plus experience in social services, education, forestry, tourism and the commercial property sector. During my career I have enjoyed working for a number of corporate, Māori, social enterprise and not for profit organisations. The insights, diverse experiences, community engagement and learnings have been invaluable to help grow me as a people manager, leader and Board Director. More recently, I led a team to successfully deliver New Zealand's first social investment bond. This social impact bond enabled the organisation to scale up and deliver better outcomes for young people in South and East Auckland. As the CEO of Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou I lead a passionate and talented team who are dedicated to supporting the children and families of an incarcerated parent to create positive futures for themselves.”
