About Me
“I bring an operator's view to the board table. I've chaired a charity board, served as deputy chair on two others, and chaired an Audit and Risk committee. As Deputy Chair of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce, I helped lead a two-year turnaround that brought it back from the edge of closing. As Chair of the Havelock Mussel Festival, I led its re-registration under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. My executive career spans finance, operations, health and safety, and systems. I've owned a P&L and reported to boards, so I understand both sides of the table. Today I run McNamara Consulting, helping owners and leadership teams fix their processes, get their systems right and adopt AI well. I'm relocating south and looking for paid board roles in Canterbury, Otago and Southland, and nationally.”
