About Me

“I am deeply committed to engaging with individuals who share a passion for community outreach, particularly in support of marginalized groups. Initially, I was hesitant to pursue roles in governance due to the limited training opportunities available for Pasifika individuals. Over time, I recognized the importance of such positions and have since assumed roles on five different boards, including serving as the chairperson of one. The path has not always been straightforward, but the invaluable lessons learned and the chance to advocate for Pacific communities—communities that often lack representation—have been profoundly impactful. I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey in this area.”
