About Me
“I am an experienced technology and community leader with over 20 years of governance and management experience across government, education, agritech, and community sectors. Currently, I serve as Technology Services Manager at Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC), where I lead enterprise technology services, drive digital workplace transformation, and strengthen governance and risk frameworks aligned with NIST standards. Beyond my professional role, I have been immersed in New Zealand’s cycling and multisport community for many years — from track, road, and mountain biking to kayaking and adventure racing. I now coach community riders at the Grassroots Velodrome and perform sport administration through the Morrinsville Wheelers Cycling Club, where I was recently recognised as Cycling New Zealand’s Volunteer of the Year. Previously, I have been a community para-cyclist and coached junior cyclists at St Peter’s, encouraging participation and development at all levels. I bring a strong background in strategic leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement, combined with deep insight into the athlete and volunteer experience. A long-standing Toastmaster and mentor, I value clear communication, collaboration, and continuous learning. I aim to contribute to boards where I can combine my governance experience, technology leadership, and lifelong passion for sport to foster inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.”
