Introducing me by video
About Me
“Kia ora Koutou I am well into my governance journey, having held a number of not-for-profit roles in recent years. I was a recipient of the Institute of Directors Emerging Director Award in 2022 and have been working as a board intern on a large commercial board since October 2022. I have held a number of senior management and CEO roles in the public and not-for-profit sectors, working largely in the areas of public health, sport and recreation and education. I have run my own consulting business since 2015 and work with a range of public and commercial sector clients. More recently, my work has followed on strategy design and execution, project management and professional coaching and development. Professionally I hold degrees in Sport and Recreation, and postgraduate degrees in Public Health and Management. I am incredibly passionate about the community sector and growing the governance capability of these organisations. In my roles as a director, I believe I bring a strong capability in the areas of strategy and strategic execution, finance, community engagement and stakeholder management, and procurement and contract management/negotiation. I am very interested in the leadership and development of people and supporting senior leaders and am focusing my ongoing skill development in the areas of risk, and health and safety governance. I currently live in Christchurch with my husband and three young children. I am passionate about the outdoors and playing my part in ensuring a brighter and healthier community and future for my children and their children.”
