About Me

“With legal training and 15+ years of experience in the sport sector in policy, sponsorship & funding, marketing, event management and governance, I have big picture understanding of the sector as well as a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by NSOs and sporting organisations at all levels. I’m passionate about governance and the impact that good governance, supported by focused strategy and the enabling of great people can make to the sustainability and success of sporting organisations. I’m a good listener, empathetic to varying perspectives and an inclusive contributor to decision-making. I’m able to distill complex information and convey it with simplicity and have a proven ability to think strategically and identify risk. This gives me the ability to ensure that conversations lead to meaningful action. I’ve lived in the Otago region for 8 years, raising two young boys. As a family we love taking advantage of the local running and biking trails, skiing in winter and sailing in summer. ”
