About Me

“I am an international wine business executive and consultant with a diverse skill set across winery management, operations, hospitality, and global sales. Experience has taught me the importance of building strong relationships across diverse teams and consulting has honed my skills in identifying opportunities, and developing and driving strategy whilst managing a range of complexities, visions, and personalities. I have experience working alongside and reporting to board members, C-suite, and operational management. I have worked on due diligence teams for wine business acquisitions. My work has included comprehensive reporting on market analysis, valuations, risk, forward strategies, and financial remarks. My measured yet agile approach to management allows me to maintain perspective and if necessary, adjust strategy as opportunities and challenges develop. As people are the essence of successful business outcomes, I enjoy working on diverse teams and am conscious to ensure others are supported and in the correct positions whilst dealing with issues early, to mitigate risk. With a clear, shared vision, I tend to lead from the middle, allowing people the opportunity to rise, whilst ensuring the business strategies remain on target. I accepted a 12-month Future Board of Directors role with an NZX-listed agri-business company to progress my governance skills and broaden my experience in working with the board, executive, and operational management across complex projects, strategy, and financial reporting. During this time, I also completed the IOD Governance Essentials program. Outside of my professional work, I have a strong interest in health, fitness, and sports, both recreational and competitive. I appreciate the value they deliver at all life stages including building individual confidence, and discipline to fostering teamwork, positive social engagement, and community. I have dual citizenship in the USA and NZ. I speak English (maternal), advanced intermediate French, and intermediate (conversational) German. ”
