About Me
“I am a finance and operations leader with governance experience in community sport and a strong commitment to advancing participation, equity, and wellbeing through play, active recreation and sport. My involvement in women’s sport spans both governance and lived experience, including participation in Te Waka Pounamu / Dragons boating, women’s tennis, women’s hockey, and broader Christchurch women’s sport communities. I have previously served as Treasurer for Pegasus Dragons, where I provided governance-level financial oversight, budgeting, reporting, and risk awareness, supporting sound decision-making while maintaining a clear distinction between governance and management. In my current paid role at Good Shepherd NZ, I hold senior responsibility across operations and financial management within a mission-led organisation supporting women, whānau and communities. This role has strengthened my understanding of accountability, public trust, funding obligations, and the importance of sustainable, well-governed organisations delivering positive social outcomes. I bring a balanced commercial and community lens, strong financial literacy, and a values-led approach to governance. I am motivated to contribute to Sport NZ–aligned organisations that support inclusive participation, strong governance, and long-term sustainability for women and girls in sport and active recreation.”
