About Me

“I am a Justice of Peace (NZ), marriage celebrant (NZ) and a qualified, motivated NZ registered health and wellness professional. I have the passion, vision to serve and engage communities through connect, responsiveness and partnership. I am driven by the basic principles of human rights, fairness, and treating everyone equally; to ensure everyone has the basic opportunities on which they can build their future and families. lived experiences to improve outcomes, support ethnic diversity and strengthen council’s engagement with ethnic communities across Auckland. GOVERNANCE Statement I am a health professional with coaching, strategic planning and improvement advisor background, I have been trainer and mentor for last 20 years of my professional career, who has held a variety of private sector, public sector and not-for-profit governance roles over the past 13 years. I am a future-focused professional with strong leadership and communication skills, who enjoys working collaboratively as a member of a board to identify actual problem, short-term solutions and develop long-term strategies. In both my governance and professional careers, I have contributed to multiple change management and service transformation processes and am an experienced quality and improvement committee member. My career as a person centred health professional has equipped me with a high level of fit for purpose service, return on investment acumen and relationship management skills, including extensive experience working with different levels from primary care to government and Crown entities. I have held Quality and improvement, economic viability, community development and change management roles in the public, community and Government sectors. I am community focused and have held several regional and national not-for-profit roles in the social, health and community development sectors.
