About Me
“Senior leader, data scientist and governance-ready professional with a PhD in Neuroscience and over a decade of experience across health, research and the public sector. My career spans senior roles in Health New Zealand, ACC and academia, advising decision-makers on strategy, risk, organisational performance, and data and AI governance. I bring practical governance experience through my role as an Executive Committee Member of the Otago Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as committee and funding assessment roles involving research funding oversight and evidence-based investment decisions. Throughout my career, I have managed significant funding and led complex, multi-stakeholder programmes requiring strong accountability, compliance and stakeholder engagement. I am seeking board opportunities where I can contribute strategic thinking, sound judgement, analytical rigour and collaborative leadership to help organisations deliver sustainable, high-performing and inclusive outcomes.”
