“I am an experienced marketing and communications leader with a strong governance lens, developed through senior roles across tourism, visitor experience, sports marketing, FMCG and digital. My career has given me a deep appreciation of how effective governance underpins long-term organisational performance, reputation and impact. In senior marketing roles, I have worked closely with executive leadership teams, boards and trustees to support strategy development, brand stewardship and risk management. This has included contributing to business planning, reporting on performance against strategic objectives, and ensuring alignment between organisational purpose, commercial outcomes and public-facing delivery. I have extensive experience operating in highly regulated and reputationally sensitive environments, including conservation-based tourism and iwi-owned enterprises. This has strengthened my understanding of governance best practice, cultural responsibility, sustainability obligations and the importance of transparency and accountability in decision-making.
