About Me
“I am an experienced governance professional and have held senior leadership roles in both sporting and other 'for purpose' entities in New Zealand. I enjoy developing strategy and seeing the implementation of that strategy through robust planning and monitoring. I have strong financial skills and focus on the analysis of financials to understnd challenges and opportunities in an organisation. I am a Chartered Member of Institute of Directors and ensure I am up to date on current trends and challenges facing governance in New Zealand. I participated in a Steering Group that co-designed a Mentoring Programme that has recently been launched as part of the national Communiy Governance resource and I am also involved in the Steering Group that is supporting Tennis NZ's participation in Sport NZ's Strengthen and Adapt project. I am semi-retired and enjoying the lifestyle that comes with living in Hawke's Bay. ”
