About Me

“Successful Senior Executive with 15+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in the sport, FMCG and insurance industries. My ‘Why’ is to give back to the HR community and profession and believe my HR and employment law knowledge will add value to any board. I welcome the opportunity to help safeguard organisations from the top down. My governance experience started with being elected to the Victorian Council of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) and joining the HRNZ Waikato Committee member, where I contributed to initiatives for member engagement, strategic planning, and sector-wide initiatives. As a PTA member and founder of the HR Roundtable in Southeast Melbourne, I have gained valuable experience in collaborative decision-making and community governance. In my current role as People and Culture Manager at Cycling New Zealand, my governance responsibilities have included preparing board papers, presenting strategic recommendations, and supporting the Board in its oversight of organisational culture and wellbeing. Previously, as People and Compliance Manager at Steamatic Australia, I reported to the board on matters of HR, WHS, compliance, and risk management. My role required monthly board reporting, risk assessment, and the development of governance frameworks to support sustainable business growth. I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences (IR & HRM, and Labour Studies) from the University of Waikato and am a Chartered Member of Human Resources New Zealand (HRNZ) and a Certified Practitioner with AHRI. My approach to both governance and HR is grounded in integrity, transparency, and a commitment to continuous learning. ”
