About Me

“In 2020 during COVID-19 lock down I joined Springboard Trust, an education not for profit focusing on increasing the strategic leadership skills of school leaders. The Trust's vision is to dramatically improve the lives of young New Zealanders by enhancing school leadership capability. I'm excited to be working for an organisation who is focused on reducing inequities within our communities and has a passion for learning and development. Previously I was employed as the South Island Region Community Programmes Manager at St John. Responsible for the leadership, management, strategy, administration and fiscal management of Community Health Programmes in South Island. St John currently offers several highly regarded community health programmes including Health Shuttles, ASB St John in Schools, Friends of the Emergency Department and Caring Caller. There are over 3000 St John members involved in delivery these programmes. The role had a strong focus on strategic planning, policy development, management and delivery. Before joining St John my role was Implementation Adviser at Primary ITO, an organisation which is dedicated to helping people who work in the primary sectors improve their skills and knowledge in the workplace. In this role I work on programme implementation and delivery, both existing and new. Facilitate training days, construct communications to stakeholders both internal and external, and plan reviews of programmes to ensure we are meeting the needs of our industries. My career started at Westpac, in business banking managing a large transactional banking portfolio consisting of education institutions and non-profit organisations across the South Island. I really enjoy relationship building and dealing with key stakeholders to meet business needs. Planning, organisation, communication and efficiency are my key strengths as I have the ability to assimilate and communicate ideas and information effectively. I have successfully completed a number of qualifications both as a full time student and while working full time. I consider myself a life long learner and have a passion for acquiring new skills and knowledge. As a person I am motivated, friendly, energetic and passionate.”
