About Me
“Inspiration through action. Whether being part of a crew preparing for the World championships, in a design team outfitting Team NZ or building a Gymnastics business I have had a career in teams focused on achieving excellence and empowered to take ownership of their performance. A passion for movement led to me developing the brand Gym Kids with my husband. We have built this into a well-established Gymnastics company in central and west Auckland over the past 14 years. I was responsibilities for HR, Marketing, Admin, customer relationships, Brand strategy, Creative strategy, and Hospitality management including the Admin and Café teams. I have recently sold by business, Gym Kids ltd and now available to look for new challenges. Prior to Gym Kids I had a career in the Fashion Industry which spans over 20 years in rolls from a Pattern Maker to Buyer, merchandiser, and designer with brands like T& Ski, Line 7, Ezibuy and Max to name a few this culminating in my own brand, Mundo. I have extensive experience in design, product development, brand development and international sourcing. I have an extensive rowing career with 10 years of competitive rowing experience and four NZ international squads. 5years of coaching experience and have represented WERC as a master from 2014 – 2019 in the World Masters games and numerous legion regattas and masters’ champs. I have also served on the WERC Board and BCR Committee. Currently I coach at Baradene college and the Westend women's squad. My highest honor is receiving a Legacy medal from New Zealand Rowing. I have a certificate in Fashion Design and Technology from Wellington Polytechnic. I live in Auckland with my husband and 3 children.”
