About Me
“Joy graduated from the University of Auckland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. In 2018 she was admitted to the New Zealand Bar. Joy recently worked as a solicitor/advocate for the New Zealand Air Line Pilots’ Association advising on employment issues, privacy and aviation law. She also has experience in collective bargaining and interest-based problem solving. Prior to that, she worked for a legal firm providing legal aid services in the Waitangi Tribunal. Joy is actively involved with a number of community organisations and NGOs including the National Council of Women of New Zealand. Joy is a member of the Pacific Lawyers Association and Auckland Women’s Lawyers Association. ”
